The Samtengang Trek is fairly short and easy except for few steep hills. It has actual days of 4 days trekking starting from Punakha and up to Wangduephodrang district with altitude ranging from 1100 to 1900m. The trail explores through rhododendron and oak forests, remote historical and religious sites and villages of Sha and Chungsakha. If the days are clear, it offers beautiful views of Jomolhari (7315m), Tiger Mountain, Gangcheta (6840m) and sunning Himalayan ranges. This package also includes cultural tours with some sightseeing, visiting historical monuments, Dzongs, meeting people, taking glimpses of Bhutanese culture and tradition covering Paro, Thimphu, Punakha and Wangduephodrang.
The Druk Path Trek is a 9 Nights/10 Days trek package with actual 6 days of trekking through mountains and high ridges, elegant natural landscapes, blue pine forests rhododendron dwarfs, ruined forts, pristine lakes and sparsely populated villages. It is the most preferred package of all trek enthusiasts in Bhutan which is a fairly easy one. The trail winds through mountains of two prime districts of Bhutan which begins from Paro and ends in Thimphu. You can have stunning views of the highest unscaled peak in the world, Mt. Gangkar Puensum (7550 m). This package also caters to your desires of some sightseeing and having glimpses of Bhutanese culture and tradition.
Jomolhari Trek is one of the most popular trekking routes in Bhutan. It provides great opportunity to embrace wide range of stunning landscapes, beautiful flora and fauna. You will walk through thick pine forests, scattered hamlets, alpine meadows and high pasturelands of yaks. The highlight of this trek is the spectacular view of snow-capped mountains from Jomolhari Basecamp (Jangothang), especially that of Mount Jomolhari and Mount Jichu Drake. The trail winds through mountains of two prime districts of Bhutan which begins from Paro and ends in Thimphu. Since the trek is relatively difficult, the trekkers are expected to be physically fit.
